(Paleo and Vegan) Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

When I was a kid I always ate raw dough when my mother was making cookies (just as I ate raw cake batter). I used to beg my mother to let me have a whole bowl of cookie dough when she was making cookies — just for the record, my mother made the Toll House cookie recipe on the back of the chocolate morsels bag.
She never let me. I had to be content with spatula, the beaters, the bowl, and whatever I could spoon off with my finger when her back was turned.

Mom wasn’t particularly paranoid about me getting sick from eating raw eggs or raw flour, but she knew I would end up with an upset stomach if I ate too much raw flour.
For sure she wasn’t as paranoid as I am today.
I would never eat raw eggs, unless they’ve been pre-pasteurized.
Even if I have yet to find someone that has gotten sick from eating raw eggs, I definitely don’t want to be the first.

This recipe comes together in minutes, and because it is made without raw eggs and raw flour, it is 100% safe to eat.
Not mention it’s paleo, vegan, and high-protein.
Even better? It’s delicious. Like you won’t be able to stop.
But you have to pick a good tasting vanilla protein powder, otherwise it will taste anything but yummy Mmmkay?
One last thing, just don’t try making cookies with this cookie dough. Alrite?
