I am trying to do LCHF, after five days I still identify complications, but am happy and up for the journey. Food like this makes me grateful for the shift: so far I believed any pizza is toxic and bad for me, now I can make it and enjoy it knowing that it will benefit me. What a life-changer. Thank you so much for this gorgeous, love-inducing recipe ;).Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00003342447006301132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5852827703279494520.post-82281333382757933082014-02-15T07:19:26.401-05:002014-02-15T07:19:26.401-05:00Will defenitive try out the recepie, but. Also, the ingredients listed say "light mozzarella" as opposed to full fat, which I think may be more suitable for paleo. Think I could use that without an issue? I figured it all had to do with the water in the cauliflower (I didn't squeezed it enough).
Another time the mozzarella cheese I used released way too much milk and that was another big mess (I cheap out and paid the consequences!)
So do look out for those two key factors.
I hope it'll turn out as it should next time!Mike @TheIronYouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10366439657152961176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5852827703279494520.post-41731411206928881612013-08-21T11:24:28.334-04:002013-08-21T11:24:28.334-04:00Hi MIke... Also, it didn't really form a dough in the oven, it was breaking a lot. I tried to squeeze as much water as possible, so I dont't know if maybe that was not enough. Maybe I made it too thin? After careful review of the literature it seems that the latter is prevailing.
Provided that, if you decide to consume dairy on a paleo diet you should pick real dairy, no low-fat garbage. In this respect, mozzarella cheese (real mozzarella cheese not the plastic processed stuff) is made with full fat milk hence admissible.TheIronYouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01540548816855416456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5852827703279494520.post-67455059385306551962013-02-21T12:11:17.101-05:002013-02-21T12:11:17.101-05:00I've never actually a cauliflower crust yet, b...I've never actually a cauliflower crust yet, but I've heard such good things. i can't wait to try this!Alejandrahttp://www.alwaysorderdessert.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5852827703279494520.post-76588066815399887072013-02-21T10:55:44.710-05:002013-02-21T10:55:44.710-05:00this wouldn't actually be considered paleo wou...this wouldn't actually be considered paleo would it? because of the inclusion of the mozzarella in the crust?
