  1. Something really needs to be done to invert the tendency to eat unhealthy food, but with the economic crisis, I guess many people are just happy if they get any food...

  2. I am a little disappointed in the sources that this visual uses. A few of the sources are:
    fricanospizza.com (seriously?)
    scumdoctor.com
    infoplease.com

Suffice to say that the American diet DOES need improvement, but honestly graphs like this have questionable accuracy. It's impossible to make a credible graph with information from 10 different sources- the data might mean TOTALLY different things on different websites. Who says the average american eats 29 pounds of fries each year? The CDC? Or Scumdoctor? Or Fricanospizza? (see my point here?)

Sorry for the rant. It gets frustrating when seemingly informative blogs post stuff like this.

    1. Hi Anonymous,
I agree that some of the sources quoted in this visual might be considered questionable. However, the data provided is pretty accurate and in line with all the other researches÷studies I came across.
Also, the visual, per se, is pretty effective and I believe that it provides some good "food for thought".
Anyway, thank you for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.
