Some Savvy Rules We Should Bring Back

Mondays are great days to think, ponder and, why not, even meditate about things that we’re doing wrong.
When I found this U.S. Food Administration manifesto, I was pretty excited because it does bring some relevant food for thought.
It’s simple, yet delivers savvy advice.

I wonder: where did we lose such great advice along the way? If we had just sticked to those 6 simple rules, today we would not be this nation of overweight/obese people, facing an health collapse.
Don’t you think?

  1. Is that really from the '50s? Amazing how often we all need to hear exactly the same messages isn't it?

  2. Hear Hear! So true! I don't get how there can be so much food waste I never throw anything away!

  3. Much earlier than the 50's. The "US Food Administration" only existed from 1917-1919 during WW1, Its message was about conserving food and resources for the war effort and ironically had nothing to do with health.

    1. Hey Eddy,
Thank you so much for the circumstantiation, I really appreciate it. As you pointed out the manifesto has nothing to do with health but it does gives some great advice that we could use nowadays!
      Peace
      Mike
