I really love this quote, and it doesn’t really matter if it’s a Nike's ad: it’s spot on and very powerful.
Every time I struggle during training (or a competition) all I have to do is to remind myself that in the end it’s all in my hands. Either I’ll do it, or no else will be able to do it for me.
Whenever I feel like I can’t make it, I just have to realize that it’s just my head trying to mess up with me...because I absolutely can!
The Iron You

The think that gives me the hardest time with this is running. I can box, swim, lift weights, etc, and keep a "keep going" mentality - but running is always the hardest.
ReplyDeleteI've found that learning what environment you work best in is immensely helpful. For example, I run much better on an hour-long, captivating TV program on.
wOW, I'm glad that someone out there is good at running and being an iron man. I'm more of an iron baker, if that counts. =)
ReplyDeleteIron-baker that is awesome! If that's your way of being TheIronYou than so be it.
